1. Terms of Use

By accessing ModShield (“the Service”), operated by ColdAngle, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly at $9.99/month. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are provided at our discretion. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including but not limited to: attempting to access other users' data, reverse-engineering the risk scoring algorithm, or using the Service for any illegal purpose.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its risk scoring algorithm, design, and content, is owned by ColdAngle. Your vehicle and modification data remains yours. By using the Service, you grant us a license to use anonymized, aggregated data to improve our algorithms.

6. Limitation of Liability

ModShield provides educational risk information only. We are not liable for any decisions you make based on our risk scores, reports, or recommendations. We do not guarantee the accuracy of premium impact estimates, warranty assessments, or state law information. Maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding any claim.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
